Join Two Desperados as a Senior Data Analyst/Scientist and be at the heart of shaping our game and marketing strategies, and advancing our business intelligence. You'll transform data into actionable insights, optimizing user experiences, guiding product development, and driving marketing decisions. Collaborating closely with game leads, designers, developers, and marketing teams, you’ll make a direct impact on how our players experience and engage with our games.
What you will do:
Track and analyze KPIs related to user engagement, retention, monetization, and more for your game title.
Uncover hidden insights and trends to optimize user journeys, in-game economy, and monetization funnels across multiple games.
Work with designers and user acquisition teams to optimize game mechanics, rewards, progression, and marketing strategies.
Design A/b tests to validate hypotheses, optimize features, and measure the impact of new launches.
Leverage machine learning and predictive models to forecast player behavior and personalize in-game experiences.
Enhance our data tracking systems to ensure accurate, timely insights for game and marketing performance.
Own data processes, contribute to BI function growth, and mentor junior team members.
Present insights in clear, actionable formats, driving decision-making across technical and non-technical teams.
Who you are:
5+ years in data analysis or data science, ideally in gaming or related industries. Experience with product and marketing analytics is a plus.
Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong business insight to define problems and provide data-driven solutions.
Excellent communication skills for presenting data insights clearly.
Team player who fosters collaboration and inclusivity.
Experience in mentoring and establishing best practices.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction (BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
Strong coding skills in Python (or R) for analytics and solid understanding of coding for modeling.
Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
Solid understanding of statistics, A/B testing, and modeling techniques.
Familiarity with machine learning, regression, classification, and clustering algorithms
Bonus:
Passion for gaming, tech, and entertainment trends.
Experience in mobile gaming analytics and player behavior.
Experience with big data tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Hadoop).
