We’re looking for a Game Animator Intern to help ensure our players have the best possible experience. You'll learn how to be an in-house advocate for our players, helping us craft full-immersion gameplay and understanding firsthand how animation brings games to life. Working closely with our game design and art teams, you’ll help create animations that speak to our players in fun, comfortable, and entertaining ways.
Collaborate with designers and artists to help create animation assets that fit the game’s visual design
Learn to implement the look, style, and aesthetics of the game
Support work on UI, character, environment animation, and special effects
Assist artists and programmers in preparing art and delivering it into the game
Industry trends and benchmarks in mobile gaming
The entire game development process
How to expand and develop your animation skills in a professional setting
Tips on building your personal career in game art and animation
Some experience or education in animation (2D/3D), video production, multimedia, or applied arts
Basic understanding of animation principles
Good artistic sense (proportion, color, composition)
Eagerness to learn about modern 2D art pipelines
Interest in bone and spritesheet animation
Self-driven, proactive, and willing to follow through on tasks
Good communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in verbal and written English
Genuine interest in gaming and game development
Familiarity with Unity Game engine
