As our Tech Artist, you play a key role in developing our games. Your perspective will be essential for creating and harmonizing all components that make a polished and detailed game.
Be the voice of our players and secure smooth and seamless gameplay.
What you get to do as a Desperado:
Work as a bridge between the artists and programmers, handle art assets and implement them into the engine;
Create high-quality in-game visuals;
Handle creation of VFX and animated content;
Implement the look, style and aesthetics of the game;
Handle implementation of Ui systems;.
Device performance optimization;
Advocate for technically sound art pipelines and best practices;
Write editor extensions, tools and scripts to help artists make or integrate assets to the game;
Solve challenging technical issues in the asset pipeline;
Collaborate with engineers and testers to diagnose and resolve in-game problems;
Keep an eye on technological breakthroughs and make sure we reflect these in our product development.
Who you are:
3+ years in the game industry or multimedia;
Strong knowledge of Unity Game Engine;
Proficient in C# language;
Understanding of platform features and limitations for mobile devices;
Good understanding of modern art pipelines for 2D/3D;
Principles of animation and visual effects
Bonus points:
Experience with Ui systems
Experience with mobile platform development
